Leeds Children's Mayor finalists information portal 2020

You have received this link as your child submitted an entry for the 2020 Leeds Children's Mayor competition. We received over 50 entries from 25 schools and after being reviewed and rated by a panel of children and young people, your child has now made it through to the final twelve...congratulations!

We have been running a Children's Mayor programme here in Leeds for over 15 years but this year will be a little different due to the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic. Because your child's entry was sent in by their school - and with the summer holidays fast approaching - we need to be able to contact yourselves directly as parents/carers. This is why we have created this short questionnaire.

What Next?
Once you have submitted this questionnaire we will keep in touch about the programme. The next step is building a voting portal - this is what we require a photo of your child for, as well as photo consent to publish it. Voting will be live from 20th July all the way through to 16th October. Our finals night will be held in late October TBC - and the format will depend on the Coronavirus situation.

If you have any questions please email leedschildrensmayor@leeds.gov.uk or call Richard on 07891 277433 and we will be happy to help, advise and support you and your child. You can also visit our LCM Website
