Introduction
The Swim Training Scheme has announced some proposals to restructure the programme in March 2026. The proposals centre around prioritising holistic development of swimmers as people - athletes - performers. Another key element is the creation of a pathway that caters for later developing athletes providing more opportunity for swimmers to reach their potential.
