0%

This work forms part of the DHSC (Department of Health & Social Care)’s International Recruitment Fund for 2024/5, focusing on regional and sub-regional partnerships carrying out activities to prevent and respond to exploitative employment practices specifically in the engagement of international migrant workers in the care sector.

A key part of this is offering training and development opportunities for Care Providers, but also for other partners in the field, such as different Local Authority departments or Third Sector organisations who might benefit from a better understanding of visa sponsorship and other issues related to International Recruitment and the individuals involved in this.

Training provided must meet the core aim of enabling sponsorship of migrant workers to be compliant and sustainable to increase capacity in care provision in Yorkshire and Humber Region.
