Consultation on the changes to the Admission Policy for Leeds Community and Voluntary Controlled schools

Introduction

Leeds City Council is the admission authority for community and voluntary controlled schools in Leeds. We are proposing changes to the admission policy that applies for the school year September 2028 to July 2029.

When we propose making changes to our admission policy, we carry out a public consultation lasting at least 6 weeks before we decide on the final policy. All responses will be considered before the final policy is presented to our Executive Board for approval.
