Quality in Care Awards 2026

Nominations are now open for the Leeds Quality in Care Awards 2026. These awards recognise excellence and celebrate the meaningful difference made by individuals and organisations across the Leeds adult social care sector.

The awards will:

• showcase and celebrate best practice in adult social care
• pay tribute to those who have demonstrated excellence in what they do
• recognise the hard work people have undertaken to improve care, raise the profile of care and inspire others to work in care

Please use this form to place your nomination for the Leeds Quality in Care Awards 2026. The closing date for nomination submissions is Friday 10th July 2026.

If you would prefer to submit a nomination through an alternative method, we are more than happy to support you.

You can request a printable Word nomination form, submit a short video explaining your reasons for nominating, or arrange a conversation with a member of the team to talk through your nomination.

Eligibility requirements

• Anyone can nominate
• All nominees or nominated services must be working in, or delivering, a Care Quality Commission regulated social care service (with the exception of the Unpaid Carer Celebration category)
• The individual or organisation nominated must be providing services in the Leeds City Council area
• There must be no serious upheld complaints made against the organisation or the individual and/or adult safeguarding referrals or investigations
• Self-nominations will  not be accepted

Privacy notice (data protection)

Your response will be used by Leeds City Council (as data controller) to manage and promote the Quality in Care awards. By submitting your response, you are giving your consent for us to use the information you provide.
 
If you are nominating a person (rather than an organisation) then you must ask this person for permission to share their contact details with Leeds City Council before submitting your nomination.
 
We will use the contact details you provide to communicate with you about your nomination and also send you news about the awards.
 
As part of the awards, we may publish (in full or an edited version) the reasons you give for making your nomination including your name.
 
We will keep your information safe and secure in line with UK data protection law. Your data will be processed by the relevant teams within Leeds City Council. Our software supplier, SmartSurvey Ltd, will also process your data on our behalf but will never use these for its own purposes. We will not share your contact details with anyone else. We will store your response in line with the time periods set out in our retention schedule.
